    Beach Fire Safety on Tinwis Beach (formerly Mackenzie Beach) – It’s important to stay informed and follow all Beach Fire Regulations while enjoying Tinwis Beach. Fires can be a great way to connect with the coast—but only when done safely and responsibly.   We strongly encourage all guests to review the District of Tofino’s official fire regulations before lighting a beach fire.   • We get it, sand and salt gets everywhere, that’s why we have an outdoor washing station!

    • You can clean, surfboards, bikes, dishes, and even you pets

    • Outdoor showers are available to get sand out of your hair and toes.

    • Did we mention it’s free to use?

    Please note that washing stations and showers are seasonal and operation is dependent on weather.

  • Token operated Indoor Showers

    If your camping or coming off from a wicked surf sess. Our indoor showers are a great way of getting the salt and smell out of your hair.*

    Location: Right side (looking towards) of the Lobby Building

    Tokens for sale at the Front Desk. 1 Token = $2.10 = 3 Minutes

    *If by chance you have sand on your person, we ask that you use the outdoor showers first.

  • Coin operated Laundry

    Needing a cloths wash during your stay? We have 3 brand new laundry machines for you to use.

    Location: Right side (looking towards) of the Lobby Building.

    Price: $4 per load (Toonies, Loonies and Quarters Only), if need coin we can do cash exchange at the Front Desk.

    Need Detergent? We have some for sale in the Lobby for $2 + tax
