GETTING TO MACKENZIE BEACH RESORT

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM DOWNTOWN TOFINO (APPROX. 3 KM / 5 MIN):

  1. Head south on Pacific Rim Highway (BC-4).

  2. Look for the Mackenzie Beach Resort sign on your right, just after the Co-op gas station and before Ocean Village.

  3. Turn in and follow the private drive to the beachfront resort.

FROM UCLUELET / PACIFIC RIM NATIONAL PARK (APPROX. 40 KM / 35–40 MIN):

  1. If coming from Port Alberni at the Highway 4 junction, turn right onto Pacific Rim Highway (BC-4) toward Tofino.

  2. If coming from Ucluelet follow directions for “Tofino” along Pacific Rim Highway (BC-4)

  3. Continue driving for approximately 28 kilometers (about 20–25 minutes), passing through Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

  4. Look for signage indicating Mackenzie Beach Road on your left. Turn left onto Mackenzie Beach Road.

  5. Proceed along Mackenzie Beach Road; the resort will be located at 1101 Pacific Rim Highway, on your left.

Make sure to check in at the front desk when you arrive!

TRAVEL TIPS

  • Cell service can be spotty on Highway 4 between Port Alberni and the coast—download directions ahead of time.

  • Watch for wildlife, especially deer and bears, particularly at dawn and dusk.

  • In winter months, check road conditions and DriveBC for updates on Highway 4.
