Downtown Tofino is about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from Mackenzie Beach Resort — roughly a 5-minute drive or a 25–30 minute walk along the bike path that runs parallel to the Pacific Rim Highway.

Depending on the season and weather, we recommend packing for both sunshine and cool coastal evenings.

Some Airstreams may be able to accommodate four people, but guests are required to reach out to the Front Desk prior to booking. For safety and comfort, extra guests, air mattresses, or cots are not permitted in any accommodations. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, including inside all Surf Bungalows.

Please note: speeds can vary occasionally due to our remote coastal location and local weather conditions — we appreciate your patience if it slows during peak hours.

All Cabins, Surf Bungalows, Airstreams, and Campsites come with one included parking stall.

• All included parking stalls beside accommodations are unpaved and graveled.

• Additional parking stalls are available ($25 per night)

• If you have a small utility or cargo trailer that fits within a standard parking space, we may be able to accommodate it for a fee of $10 per day, subject to availability.

We kindly ask that you call ahead to make arrangements prior to arrival.

We’re happy to add a note to your reservation requesting to be located close to your friends. While we’ll do our best to make it happen, requests are subject to availability and can’t be guaranteed — but we’ll always try to keep your crew as close together as possible!

Our accommodations are not equipped with A/C, as Tofino’s coastal climate remains cool and comfortable for most of the year.

All units are designed for natural airflow, featuring windows and doors for ventilations while the units feature heating systems for cooler months.

The resort’s proximity to the ocean keeps evening temperatures mild, and it rarely exceeds 25°C (77°F) even in peak summer.

Our cabins, surf bungalows and airstreams are all individually keyed for your safety and privacy.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside any building, Cabin, Bungalow, or Airstream. You are welcome to smoke on your deck away from any open doors. Please be considerate about other guests around you.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the beach (District of Tofino bylaw).
tinwis Beach (Mackenzie Beach) is considered a public beach, and smoking/vaping there can result in fines.
